Alcoholics Anonymous Jersey
Alcoholics Anonymous is a Fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and hep others to recover from alcoholism.
In Jersey there are 21 Meetings covering every day of the week, in several locations across the Island. We have morning, lunch time and evening meetings. Since the first Group was formed in 1951, hundreds of Jersey people have found a solution to their drink problem in Alcoholics Anonymous.
All members can remain anonymous but we want the public, and particular those in trouble with alcohol, to know that AA is active in Jersey and that it can help.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions.
A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
