British Red Cross charity shops sell second-hand designer and vintage clothes, plus gifts, books, furniture and more with all profits going towards the organisation’s work both overseas and in the UK. Local activities include:

• Fundraising for the international work of the Red Cross for specific projects appearing on the Top 15 Red Cross International Priority List
• Collections for Emergency Appeals as and when they are launched
• Fundraising and collections for the global Disaster Fund during Red Cross Appeal Week in May
