Welcome to Autism Jersey
Our Story
Established in 2005 by a group of dedicated and committed parents, Autism Jersey is now the leading charity in Jersey dedicated to the assistance and support of people on the autism spectrum.
Our Mission
Autism Jersey enables people on the autism spectrum to achieve their potential by advocating for an inclusive community and providing personalised services to individuals, families and carers.
Our Values
Our service is guided by five key values:
-
Individual
-
Hopeful
-
Honest
-
Respectful
-
Ethical
Our Boutique gives opportunities to people with autism to engage in meaningful work experience and develop work and social skills while building confidence in a supportive environment.
Our Services
Autism Jersey has well-developed expertise in its field and has achieved Preferred Provider status in the provision of autism-related services to the Department of Health & Social Services. Our services have passed the specialist standards of the National Autistic Society's Autism Accreditation Programme and we are working towards attaining the Enhanced Accreditation for which we will be the only provider on the Island to achieve.
Our charitable services are designed to provide autistic individuals, their families, and carers an immediate response and a range of ongoing support that is not funded by the Government, but is free at the point of delivery.
