Who we are

Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey offers free emotional support, practical information and group support to people in Jersey with any type of cancer and at any stage, along with their families and friends.

We also have a wellbeing service which includes complementary therapies, activities, group / social support, and diet and exercise advice. All our services are free and confidential. Our services are provided from The Oasis, Macmillan Jersey’s cancer support and wellbeing centre, based at the Lido Medical Centre.

Our Mission is to play a key role in supporting people affected by cancer and their loved ones, whilst helping to shape the Island's strategy for cancer care.

The challenge and our purpose

Cancer is increasing, with one in two of the population receiving a cancer diagnosis at some time during their lives. The increase is mainly because people are living longer. Due to improved treatments, many more people will live beyond cancer, and our service aims to meet the growing demand and changing needs.

Our purpose is to ensure that everybody affected by cancer in Jersey has access to emotional, practical and wellbeing support, through their preferred route of contact.
