At New Horizons Support Services our services include tailor-made care packages providing respite for individuals, their families and carers, thus enabling people to live the lives they choose. Our services provide flexible alternative options for adults, to the traditional respite services offered on the island .

We offer truly personalised respite options including supporting individuals in their own home, an environment they know and are already comfortable with.

As our services are life long, it avoids the stress of unnecessary transitions and ensures continuity in how a person’s support is delivered. Our services are accessible to individuals with mild/moderate needs to those who require specialist support and can be funded privately or if arrangements are in place through Health & Social Services funding.

Sitting Service

Short-term respite support provided to individuals and families that are experiencing challenges within the home environment and times of change, such as leaving school, moving house, loss and bereavement.

Short break Respite in the Home

For Individuals whose carers, parents and family members wish to have some well needed respite by going on an overnight break or on holiday, whilst leaving the individual in their own home environment supported by experienced and caring staff, rather than being placed in a more formal care setting.

Crisis & Transitions in Life Support

Short-term respite and support services provided to individuals and families that are experiencing challenges within the home environment and times of change, such as leaving school, moving house, loss and bereavement.
