Brighter Futures
WHO WE ARE.
Brighter Futures is a local charity supporting parents, families and young people in Jersey. We provide keyworker support alongside a number of Free programmes and services to help support the parents and carers we meet.
Since 2008, Brighter Futures have supported over 3,450 families, benefiting over 13,400 Islanders. Working alongside the main carer, our educational model provides them with the tools to thrive.
WHAT WE DO.
Our services are designed to meet the needs of the whole family to make sustainable change. This includes key worker support and a range of groups and programmes covering child development, well-being and personal development.
Supporting 150 families at any one time, Brighter Futures offers a range of programmes which address three crucial key areas of family life;
- Parent–Child Relationships programmes, help our clients recognise and value their role as their child’s first and most important educator.
- Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing programmes, which support social and emotional wellbeing, increase resilience to cope with difficulties and challenges to give our clients hope for a brighter future.
- Second-Chance Learning programmes, provide the skills our clients may need in order to progress and succeed in education, work and life.

Referrals should be made by a professional using the below referral form on-line link. HERE
Once a completed and signed referral form has been received by Brighter Futures, a member of staff will contact the referrer to advise whether the referral has been accepted. Once accepted, a Key Worker will be allocated, and they will contact the client directly to arrange a convenient time to meet and discuss their support.
