Welcome to Trans* Jersey. We work in the Channel Island of Jersey. We offer support to people who identify as trans man (FtM), trans woman (MtF), transsexual, intersex, gender non-conforming, non-binary, genderfluid, genderqueer, agender, bigender, polygender, pangender, third gender, androgynous, two-spirit, gender questioning, demi boy, demi girl, and any other gender variant identity that does not fit the social binary model of male (man) and female (woman).
We recognise that not everyone wishes to transition medically fully or partially, and for some people seeking our services transition may mean a social change only.
Within this website we use the term ‘trans*’ and ‘trans and/or non-binary’ to cover all the identities we support.
We are a central support, resource, advice and referral service for any Islander exploring their gender or seeking help to transition.

Trans* Jersey is an innovative service that has been designed by and for the trans and non-binary community in Jersey. To help guide us in our work and ensure that we meet the needs of our community, we have the following vision, mission and values.
Trans* Jersey is a gender clinic pilot in Jersey Channel Islands, which has been created to provide primary care that is safe, timely and easy to navigate. We are a partnership between Liberate and YES.
We are a team of LGBTQ+ practitioners and allies working together to support our clients in a variety of ways depending on our areas of expertise. We take a holistic and flexible view of transition, helping people to be informed and supported to make decisions that are right for them.
We recognise that there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ trans or non-binary person. Our community group is made up of a diverse range of trans and non-binary people with different skills, experiences and backgrounds.
